To answer your question, yes maraming opportunities, kaya lang, not to discourage you, pero nowadays mahirap mag-sign up sa upwork. Tinulungan ko kasi yung pamangkin ko recently lang, IT grad din sya with BPO experience (although hindi management), na mag-sign up pero pending for approval, meaning di pa sya pwedeng mag-apply. Tips: 1. Take as many tests as you can. They are free and will enhance your profile. 2. List UNIQUE skills. The platform is already overflowing with freelancers with "basic" skills like MS Office, Data entry, etc. The more advanced and specific, the better. I'll add more to this list pag may naisip pa ako. Naghahanap ka ng girl's perspective, eto ang sakin: minsan talaga may topak din kami..(to be clear--HINDI LAHAT at HINDI LAHAT NG ORAS). Isa kasi ako sa mga early-adopters kaya hindi pa strict ang sign-up. Odesk pa ang name nya noon before naging Upwork and I was referred by a college friend directly sa company kaya hindi ako dumaan sa rigorous hiring process. $4/hr ang base pay noon for QA analyst, yung mga VA yata ganun din ang rate, minsan higher, lalo na yung sa coding, ganun. Depende talaga sa skillset mo. Sa time, kadalasan night shift/graveyard pero may mga contracts na flexible working hours and also depende sa location ng employer mo. DATA ENTRY - as the title implies, copy-paste ng info, sometimes numbers. May contract ako noon, backstory: so sa affiliate marketing sila, ang work ko is to gather their revenues from different websites(accounts) then input sa spreadsheet nila. Very basic, pero depende sa contract. TRANSCRIPTION - pwedeng GENERAL (anything under the sun) or by specialization (MEDICAL, LEGAL, etc.). Na-try ko both. Sa general transcription usually interviews, then for Medical Transcription, usually patient history, assessment, ganon and usually dapat qualified ka.

Then you can search sa hundreds of jobs posted for the task that you can do. Data entry and transcription po ang recommendation ko to you, unless you have other skills (cust. service, graphic arts, autocad, etc.)
