the reason FOUR is correct because FOUR does have FOUR characters. Like we can say the answer has Four characters because the answer does really have four characters.

 

if we say one or two or three is incorrect because

one has 3 characters

two has 3 characters

three has 5 characters

five has 4 characters (but you said five, not four)

 

so the only answer that works is “four”
 

The people that answered “4” is incorrect because “4” only has 1 character. So you really have to spell it out to get four characters as you said the answer is four characters.
