Once upon a time, Emperor Shahrukh reigned over Persia. He was a shrewd and thoughtful monarch, and his council included the Ten Treasures, his ten counselors, each celebrated for a specific talent. One of these Treasures was Jamal, renowned for his sharp wit and profound wisdom.

The following tale is a testament to his cunning. Do you possess the insight to deduce the solution?

A rancher and his adjacent dweller once approached Emperor Shahrukh's court with a quarrel.
"Your Highness, I purchased a reservoir from this man," the rancher stated, gesturing towards his neighbor, "and now he demands I compensate for the water."

"That's accurate, Your Highness," confirmed the neighbor. "I indeed sold him the reservoir, not the water within!"
The Emperor turned to Jamal to mediate the disagreement.

How did Jamal resolve the disagreement?

Patry po. I think ang solution ni jamal as he is known for his sharp wit is i weigh yung reservoir with and without water. Through that they can determine whether kasama talaga sa nabili yung water or hindi and need magcompensate ni rancher dahil in the first place yung reservoir lang naman ang naging usapan. Bale if same weight pa rin naman kahit may water na is hindi need magcompensate ni rancher but if nag iba ang weight the rancher should properly compensate the adjacent dweller.

Hehehehhe ang haba pero ayun po

Jamal cleverly resolved the disagreement by suggesting that the rancher and his neighbor should return to the court the next day, each bringing their payment for the water. The reservoir would be drained overnight, and the exact amount of water that flowed out would be measured. Based on this measurement, they would split the cost accordingly and to ensured fairness by accurately determining the value of the water that had been used.

I think Jamal must've said Dweller that , He sold his reservoir to Rancher and his(Dweller) water is still in his(Rancher) reservior, So now he must pay back for keeping his(Dweller) water in Rancher's reservoir , Or take out all his water from Rancher's resevoir . Because its Rancher's reservoir now. So, now Dweller got no way out and must've given up.

Hope this is correct!

Nice explanation, but that's not the answer.

Yes this is correct! - I am sending you 50 BCash now. Thanks for joining!

Yes, now that he owns the Reservoir, then why is the water still in there? Get it out or pay rent!

Here is the continuation of the story.

Jamal, respected for his keen intellect, pondered over the dispute. He turned to the neighbor, who had sold the reservoir, and began to speak, "When you sold the reservoir, did it contain water?"

"Yes, it did," replied the neighbor, not understanding where Jamal was leading.

"Interesting," mused Jamal, stroking his beard. "And when you sold the reservoir, did you take the time to remove the water before the sale was completed?"

"No, I did not," the neighbor admitted, his confusion growing.

"Then," Jamal declared, turning to Emperor Shahrukh, "it is clear. The water was within the reservoir at the time of the sale, so it's a part of the reservoir. When you sell a vessel containing something, unless otherwise stated, you sell the contents as well. Otherwise, you should have emptied the reservoir before making the sale."

The emperor, hearing Jamal's judgement, nodded in agreement. "Indeed, the water belongs to the buyer, the rancher. He owes you no further compensation."

And with that, Jamal's wisdom once again resolved a dispute, proving his value amongst the Ten Treasures.
