Today’s Verse:
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? - Micah 6:8

In the New Testament, Jesus gave us the two great commandments to live by, which summarized the Ten Commandments given to Moses by God in the Old Testament. Similarly, Micah gives us a concise summary of how to live a good life with three basic commands: do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God. Love God and your neighbor Jesus said, which incorporates treating others with love, kindness, mercy, justice, honesty, and compassion. Be humble and selfless, giving God the glory for all of your blessings, which should make you want to treat others with His love. Walking humbly with God in our hearts, surrendering our will to His makes it possible for us to accomplish all of the other instructions. So if we summarize all of the ten commandments, Micah’s three commands, and the two great commandments we get one ultimate life instruction - Love!

Today’s Prayer:
Loving Father, thank You for the instructions on how to live according to Your will that we find in the Bible. Help me to be always mindful of Your greatest command to love You and one another. Amen.???
