March 20, 20215 yr Today’s Verse: O send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling. - Psalm 43:3 Have you ever walked into a dark, unfamiliar room and could not find the light switch, only to wander around in the dark looking for it? It’s happened to me more than once, and it’s never a pleasant experience. Sometimes in our walk with God, we feel like we don’t know what to do when the lights don’t come on. Maybe we find ourselves feeling powerless and are unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We used to play and do this experiment when we were young. I use a candle and a glass jar, and the idea is that when the glass jar is placed on top of the candle, the light slowly dims and goes out. When the glass jar is pulled off just in time, the candle lights back up again. When we can’t seem to find the light in our lives, it’s time to take the jar off, surrender to God, and let Him lead us. Today’s Prayer: Father, thank You for always being a light for us. Please show me when I have that glass jar covering Your light and how to surrender to Your Will for my life. Amen.???
